Our team has multiple GCP projects that represent differing environments (prod, staging, dev, etc). It's not easy/obvious to identify which project/environment you're in at any given time. The idea for this feature would allow customers to set their own banner color in order to make it more obvious what environment/project they're in. We would use RED for prod, Yellow for staging, and dev could stay blue.
Our team has multiple members that have created chrome extensions that do just this. It seems like it would be a reasonable feature request that many teams may use.11 votes
we like using the google console app with our ipad but are not able so save files after we ssh to an instance. after entering the file name we hit enter/return and nothing happens7 votes
At the page https://pantheon.corp.google.com/project/xxx/compute/disks, and other similar pages, it would be very convenient if I can export that list and do my own manipulation to extract relevant information with google sheet, etc.6 votes
This sounds great. We’ll take a look!
In some situations, it's necessary to connect to multiple machines that are in a logical group. Unfortunately the web SSH feature only pops up a window for a single server. It would be great if you could check multiple instance and open them in a multi-tab window.6 votes
Thanks, that’s a nice suggestion! Routing to the Developer Console sub-area, and I’ll pass this along to that team.

This is something we’d love to add.

In a recent update, pinned items in the top bar gone missing. It was a very, very useful feature.3 votes
Thanks, we appreciate your feedback, and another user gave similar comments on our discussion group as well. The new pinning design tested well with a majority of users, but we understand that in most changes like this, there will always be a mix of preferences. The team is planning some further enhancements that should restore some of the best attributes of the old design, so please stay tuned.
Add the ability to have favorite project. This is helpful when you have a lot of projects and the "recently used" just does not cut it.
This would be mostly a feature request for the webinterface.3 votes

At AWS console, it's possible to select multiple resources (e.g. EC2 instances) and visualize their metrics at once. It would be nice to have the same feature at GCP Console, making it a lot easier to compare CPU usage across different VMs, for instance.1 vote
Thanks for the suggestion! We’re currently considering beefing up the amount of visualization capabilities in the console, so I’ll route this feedback to the team. Currently it is mostly anticipated for high level status and for finding resources you need to modify, and we tend to recommend Stackdriver for more advanced dashboard and insight gathering applications (but I don’t know off the top of my head if they support what you’re asking for, just framing how we think about the two UIs).
