Columns configuration in VM Instances grid view
I'd like to configure the VM instances grid view in order to get more information about the instances that I have right there in that view without having to open instances detail.
One of the information that is good to have there is the machine type.
Hello all. We have now deployed column configuration options in the UI for the GCE area of our Console. We recognize that there have been several requests for additional columns, and we’re happy to implement those. If you’d like to suggest specific columns, please comment on this feature request and we’ll get to work on them! :)

Please add CPU and MEM columns
please add 'network' column to the grid.
also, please make it possible to UI-exclude 'stopped' instances (or at least order instances by 'status').
It will be very useful.
A column option for tags in the VM Instance view would be very useful.

You should rather vote for a more generic column configration of the console like :

Both on the VM instances and Instance groups page it would be really helpful if a column with the machine type is present on which you can sort.
It's now really hard to quickly find out what the types of your instances are. I would expect to be able to add this kind of information through the columns dropdown, but that only shows labels you've set yourself, no existing well-known properties.

I want to be able to add my own columns to the VM instances view, and then assign named metadata keys as the column data source. This would be a powerful tool for optimizing and customizing this overview.

At a glance, I can't tell which of my machines are big (and therefore costing me a lot of money).
It'd be great if I could see the "size" of each VM in the VM list.
In Compute->VMInstances gui menu, show internal IPs when listing all VM instances.
I have noticed that you can now sort by all columns in the VM console, thanks!
I have also found out that in GC storage console, you can't sort by any column. Moreover the top banner feedback icon doesn't have request a feature option. That feels a bit weird, the top pannel seems to be (or seems to be intended to be) the same among all GCE resources, but it probably isn't...
Currently you can only sort VMs in GCE/compute/VM console by name. But in e.g. routes, you can also sort by priority or network. I don't think it would be such big effort to implement ability to sort by all columns in each resource specific web console. In VMs, it's useful to sort by e.g. network name or zone. Someone else might find it useful to sort by external IP... I think sorting by all columns should be enabled for all resource types.
...and other cloud providers already implement this simple feature in their consoles.
