HTTP(S) Load Balancing: Add IP Geolocation to HTTP headers
Please add the IP Geolocation headers to requests handled by the HTTP(S) load balancer. Similar/identical to the headers provided by App Engine (''X-AppEngine-country', etc).
While the user-defined-request-headers is nice to have, those headers are sent to the backend server.
It would be much more useful to have the country metadata (and city and lat/long) in the Load Balancer logs that StackDriver send to BigQuery or Storage ! Please add this, it's non sense to have to add CloudFlare in front of Google Load Balancer just to get that data, also IP-to-GEO data changes over time, so looking up GEO data should be done when requests come in.
Looks like it is implemented. https://cloud.google.com/load-balancing/docs/backend-service#user-defined-request-headers
Please add it, now with the new GDPR this will help a lot
It will be very great ! (As a lot of CDN do it)
