Support POST data in Stackdriver uptime checks
Uptime checks should support non-GET HTTP methods too, including POST with data.
I would love this feature supported! Trying to move over our pingdom uptime checks and this is the one item missing.

We would love to be able to send POST, and of course, be able to define the contents of the request body (a JSON payload in our case). Thanks!

Agree on this!, is very important to monitor services and webhooks, from my end I would like to send information on the body of the request to emulate a call to the services. (POST is a must right now but will be great if you can support other http verbs.

This is definitely on our radar for Uptime! Would you need more than POST (I.e., PUT, PATCH, etc)? What kind of data would you envision sending in an Uptime check?

This would be great. Monitoring our APIs that don't accept the GET method is not possible in Stackdriver without this.
Basically: support for configuring all attributes of an HTTP request.
